So funny,

The post where someone said nothing should be sticking out on one side or the other inspired me to look closer. The tube was completely out of the cast on the inside of one side, but tight enough it appeared to be in the hole. Careful look, I could see and edge of the tubing on the inside of the exhaust port. I got a screw drive and pried up on it and it popped out, falling loose in the middle of the manifold. A lot of shaking and tipping, half the tube fell to the floor. I could not get anything to thread into the inside diameter of the other side of the tube and back it out.  I fought it for an hour and finally drilled it just smaller than the outside diameter of the tube and then took a punch and tapped it loose, The other half of the tube dropped down inside the manifold and fell out the other side. The break in the middle was not new. It had been rusted and broken in two pieces for a long time.

Thanks for all the help everyone!
