This is from the fertile mind of Jerry Christenson.

In a recent dyno test this intake made 15 ft lb more ave torque and 12 more ave hp that a ported Mummert intake. Jerry said he would build a free one for anybody who could get it under the hood of a 56 Bird.

I was thinking you could just lay a bird hood on top of it.

Royce. Thanks for sharing. Looks good. I like the fact that all the runner entries are the same distance under the carbs. That goes a long way in getting the torque numbers up versus the port entries being staggered.

Hi Royce and Jerry,

Glad to see you guys in the frozen north have found something to do with your time!! That intake looks pretty cool too.

Pretty impressive HP numbers from 333 ci. I think i see one of Duntov's ideas in Jerry's hand.

Frank, I think Jerry pronounces that as "doomkoff". Barry L ...even further north and colder

You're probably right ! Remember he also designed and built the Ardun heads and manifolds for the SmileFord Flat head before he went over to the "Dark Side"

Or build 4X4 Monster Truck Tbird and then you got plenty room to lower whole engine.
