Well that is a little bit of a problem because they came out of my '63 1/2 Falcon and they didn't work well there. The ex manifolds sat more or less on the more or less frame. I have looked through Mustang catalogs and they seem to fit 65 to 68. But please ask a Mustang expert if these are all the same. I can send a couple of more pics if you like. Also I have noticed that they were trimmed a little bit on a non functional edge that will not affect function and might not be visible when the engine is installed but you aught to know.

Hi Davis,

Well that is interesting about convertible/HT motor mounts. The mounts I have are identical to the one to the right in Fig 11 of the magazine article (in the mans left hand). Here is a pic of my pair in the same orientation. You can also see in this pic where some metal has been trimmed from the bracket near the upper bolt. The trimming has not gotten close enough to any bolt hole so that the bolt head is completely engaged.

But after reading the article I can not tell if these are convertible or HT mounts!

i think they are 67 289 only. 67 convertible, 67-70 big block, 68 289 convertible, 68-70 302, 351W convertible
maybe add an imaginary line of what got trimmed off to better help id the upper hole distance.

more info from all stang forum.

seems 67 was one year only change.
of course thats the year i have. and also finding the rubber mounts are single year also.

i may opt for 68 units and make life easier and in my case, 1/2" higher.
