Was there ever a manual shift bell housing for a 368 Lincoln? Are the motor mounts the same on a Y-block Ford?

Yes,There is a stick bellhousing for a 368, the 57 368 mercurys used them. Also you can use a 302 332 truck bell, but they are heavy and need some machine work. The 368 motor mounts are not the same as a y-block

The only 1957 Mercs with the 368 engine and had the stick setup was a Bill Stroppe prepared M 335 optioned engine.
The bell housings on those stick ,368 ,M 335 equipted cars were made of aluminum with some serious beefy clutch linkage.
Supposedly only 100 of those M 335 engines along with the aluminum standard shift bell housings were produced from Stroppe"s shop.
Can you say "Hens Teeth" ?
