Looking to buy a holley 2300 350cfm, manual choke carb for my 60 F100 292. I would like either a good useable or a core. I tightened mine 1/148309 of a turn too much, broke an ear. Thanks, Mark

If it was a good carb before the break, J.B. Weld It back together, using a flat surface under it.. Not much to lose!

Thanks for the suggestion. I have it rigged with some rtv and a large, thick washer for now. With so many unknown things that can go wrong on this truck it bothers me to have something that I know is going to fail at the most murphy moment. Mark

Y-OH-Y, I have a Holley 2 bbl carb that came with my '56 M100. You can have it if you want. I have no idea what CFM it is. Is there something I should look for to id it?

Y-OH-Y,

Why don't you just buy a new carb base? These are available through either holley or are available as an aftermarket copy.

About $50-60 if you look. Your not the first nor will you be the last to break a base.

cheers

I have been looking, most I have found have been closer to $100. I was hoping someone might have one on a shelf that could be had cheap. I have found american rebuilts for $180, and new for $240, just need to keep it running for now. Thanks, Mark

Y-OH-Y,

Check Ebay there are a few on there much less than $100. The Procomp ones are in the $40-60 range. I'm looking for one with a timed vacuum port. That's why I know Wink

Cheers
