So far this is what I've found.
416 D PP Y-Block Guy Racing 119.611 115.943 120.072 120.072
416 D PP Y-Block Guy Racing 118.471 111.824 119.895 119.895
I quess they haven't run since August 13th ?
And this info comes from SCTA sites, so I think this is the truth!

Tim & Charlie swapped the modified C1TE heads for the heads off the Brick yesterday to see what difference they make...should make another run today. Truck is running & handling very well.

57 ranchwagon (8/15/2011) Great to hear just saw that on SCTA web site today, does any body know what record Tim's class is running on(can't remember his CID). Also anybody know what car number Keiths 32 coupe is. Best of luck to all the Y-blocks out on the salt go fast stay safe wishing I was racing with you. Thanks also to all who are keeping us updated. SamThe record in my class is 164.230 mph. I had no dreams of reaching that this year, I did however want to make 130 but 127 will have to do. As Todd said the truck runs strait and true at speed so now it's time to add some power. 165 is not going to be easy, Keith has 525 hp in a coupe and has worked hard to get it to 173. My engine is smaller and I have a bit more frontal area, the wait isn't an issue and I will be adding it as the speed goes up. Talking to Norris Andersen who holds A/MP and AA/MP records and is basically the fastest pickup out there ('49 Stude @ 220+) he adds 1200lbs to the back of his truck to keep it stable. Once you get the mass rolling it has a flywheel effect, 'course then you have to think about stopping it.

These are the timing slips from our last day, Mon., after the head and manifold change. My best timing slip, close to perfect run.
second run on Mon. set the timing to 40* btdc from 35* and see what happens. Ran good, just not as good.
Last run of Mon. we were hoping for good things with a carb spacer change and the timing set back to 35* but after the first mile the engine got a little rough and you can see what happened to the speed. Haven't had a chance to see what is up with the engine but I'll bet it is a small thing. I didn't feel the need to take my foot out of it.
bla bla bla

Congratulations tim from us all! I think we all need to put it in perspective, you built this truck in a very proffessional manner and very short time, went to the salt passed tec, ran the truck and did actually compete! A great achievment from you, family and other y block guys.

charliemccraney (8/17/2011) On the time slips, what is SP and DA?DA is density altitude, to be honest I'm not sure about SP. I might add, look at the wind. That was a "Head wind", who knows might have got that 130 if it was calm.

Which slip shows the Mummert intake? How do you think they compared?

grovedawg (8/18/2011) Which slip shows the Mummert intake? How do you think they compared? The Mummert intake ran the same as the "B" intake, 120, but remember the "B" was highly modified and the Mummert was right out of the box.

Tim,
Those speeds are fantastic. The photos of your truck are outstanding. Really beautifully shot. I'd like to get my car out there just to get some pictures. Never been but have driven by many times so I need to make it a priority.

charliemccraney (8/17/2011) On the time slips, what is SP and DA?SP = Saturation pressure? Static pressure? This should be somewhat relatable to barometric or atmospheric pressure. I found that the wind speed and direction was one of the more important pieces of information on the slips.

Keith’s car number is 560. The ’32 slipped past the 175mph mark after four gear changes and lots of duct tape. Mission accomplished in regards to maxing the car speed to the tech limit of the car. Here’s the timing slip.
