Good to see you flying the "Y- Block " banner & "Living the Dream " Few Hot Rodders in Au could share your passion and dedication over the last 40 + years to the spirit of the sport .Your loyality to Y-Blocks is second to none .One day I hope to meet you in person .You have always been willing to help anyone in trouble .I sure hope you make it to Columbus one year .You will be right at home walking with some legends .I think you mentioned Andy Morris being an Aussie legend ? You ,Bill ,are right up there with him .Keep on building those Y-powered Hot Rods .

LON & MOZ thanks for kind words, i grew up thinking everyone could see y blocks were the real engines in our world but its taken me all these years to see most people were blinded by cheap mass produced junk engines rather then "keep the fayth"!.
I.m not sure about legends but there are certainly people with the passion for our mid 50,s cars and these engines, the argentinians certainly produced impressive variations to the y blocks and others developed them for old ski boats and marine use, then theres the guys who push the development envelope further each day weather its in a back shed or workshop, everyone knows who they are and hopefully us old farts can pass some of it on. I have watched the y block emerge from behind the curtains to front row seats , the after market products and racing results have rekindled the flame for the edge dwellers. It was evident at the hot rod nats where there were new y block engined cars among some of the old timers and Y block talk filled the air. regards bill.
