By Marty - 15 Years Ago I replaced the 56 4V manifold with a 57 4V manifold and installed an Edlebrock 600.  It seem the balance spring is not balancing :-) or who knows what is happening.  Anyway sometimes it works as advertised and then sometimes when I try to accelerate nothing happend, weird. I will check Ebay frequently. Thanks Marty By oldcarmark - 15 Years Ago Marty!The balancing spring?Is that the one on the bellcrank that keeps the 2 levers together(for want of a better description)?Same setup on mine but I went to a 390 Holey with the 57 manifold.If that lever is not working right you may have the spring in wrong holes.I had mine together wrong and it took me a few minutes to get the spring in properly.
