Do you suppose the cam of a later Motorcraft dizzy could be grafted to the earlier advance mechanism/stem? Some of the photos almost look like the cam could be pressed off.
I get the Autolite style machined down to accept the Motorcraft "reluctor" to put the Duraspark units in there - why not a later cam?
