I've been using Method #1 for years. Easy Peasy. It helps if you use a remote starter switch.

Chart for method 1
I put this chart together when I did mine. Being a thousandth off is not a problem, better to be looser than tight. Looser will give the valve a little time to cool in the seat. 🚗

Yep, I used method #1 and it was super easy. Done in about 20 minutes.
