Hi,

New guy here who would appreciate some help.

I have 1964 292 in an F-100. I'd like to put the finned T-Bird valve covers on it (1955-1957 I believe). Maybe this is a stupid question, but do y-block valve covers interchange across years?

I tried to search the forums, but didn't have any luck. Thanks for reading.

Yes - they will fit.  Yblocks used the same pattern all years

You will also need to order a set of longer (T'Bird) hold down bolts from Concours- Dennis Kirk or ? the  Covers are taller than the stamped ones on the engine now.

Just make sure they are correct Length. The installation Kit I ordered from Tee-Bird had too short Studs. I believe Macs also sells a Kit with Studs, Acorn Nuts, and Gaskets. Don't know if they are correct Length.
