Something special Y project going on this winter ? I have to deal with my oil leak on the engine and the rear end. The engine haves a leak on the crank case vent house, and i have a leak around the oil pump/Bottom end off the converter house. I think this leak is coming from the valley cover under the intake. Finish my wire harness / instrumentation upgrade which was started about 2 years ago. Get the truck to hook and ready for test and tunes in the spring. After that, it's necessities, rust repair.

For my Tbird, Granada disc brake upgrade, T-5 Conversion from the Fordo, and a lot of detail stuff; cleaning, polishing and some re-chrome work. Goes to the muffler shop to replace the Magnaflows in the morning. Not sure what will be the replacements...have thought about Supertrapps. I am working on a plan for lowering the front. The Granada spindles will drop it about an inch or so. The problem is the aluminum heads and intake, Sanderson headers took some weight off the front and it sits higher now. I think I cut the front coils for a 1 inch drop years ago when I replaced them, not sure. The Fatman 3 inch drop spindles are too low for my taste and worry about fender clearance on parking lot/driveway bump tight radius turns. Plus they want nearly 600 bucks for them.

I'm hoping to get the 292 in MoonShadow this week. If it will ever quit raining! (sorry Texans) That done I'll put the vicky back in the trailer for the winter. With a little luck, and a lot of rearranging I'll be able to get the roadster in the garage. If not it's off to storage too. Either way I won't have much room to do any work. So I guess I'll just piddle around on small stuff and EBAY. Someday I have to clean out my garage! 2car unit is currently a no car! Chuck
Y's guys rule! Looking for McCullouch VS57 brackets and parts. Also looking for 28 Chrysler series 72 parts. And early Hemi parts.

Geting the toploader in the T-Bird and working with the original handle on the Hurst shifter. Have body stripped and repainted. New cam for the engine and Mummert heads if I can come up with the cash and he can come up with the heads. Busy and expensive winter coming up!

Getting my `57 Custom back together and on the road for the first time since it last ran in the late 60's...Can't wait! Have a 292 and 4 speed for now, will be getting a 312 and either a 4 or 5 speed later. So, engine/trans install, wiring, paint, and last will be upholstery. Already have rear and brakes done. Would be thrilled to have it at Columbus next year, at least with the 292. The finished 312 would be a hat trick.

Assemble my 312, put floor pans in the '55 wagon, see if the wagon's 272 will start, pull it either way, find out what the noise maker is on a 292 on the engine stand.
