T-85 Borg/Warner with Overdrive, solid trans for a '56 or '57 Mercury or '57 Fairlane. Comes with slip yoke and relay for $500.00 with buyer paying for shipping and will ship anywhere in the Continental U.S. only. Good solid trans that had no problems when pulled in the '70's and is full of gear lube that will be drained before trans is shipped.

Does the solenoid point upward or downward on this transmission?

It is a T-85 Borg/Warner. It points downward as all T-85's, what do you have that points upward?
