Interesting auction item

'57 F Code
By Dobie Gillis - 11 Years Ago
Whoever wrote the copy doesn't seem to know a post 2 door from a Victoria...

Not bad. But wire wheels on an F code just don't get it! Good that it's a stick shift, too bad it's not an overdrive. A trailer queen, but I'd take it.

As Dobie points out, it's not a 2 Dr Hd.Top Victoria. It's a 2 Dr Club Sedan. Sometimes called a fake hardtop. And yes, the wire wheels are out of place on that car. I wonder what it will auction for? Would be a great aquisition though..

I would say big bucks with minters reputation.

Could someone please buy it for me? It would be just in time for my birthday.

Having seen some of Minter's cars, I'd say deep pockets previal.

Look for this one to go for at least $85,000 to $90,000.

As far as I know the Minter brothers are the best in the business for restoring T-Birds and other Fords. If you have to ask price you can't afford them! Chuck

The auction site lists the sold price as $142,500.

I think I'd probably have to clean the oil spots off the garage floor before i brought it home.

At that price it would have had to go in my living room.
