Yes, Charlie, it is owned by wealthy argentinian race car owner, it finally showed the class and car that we wondered about for long time, my friend over there knows them and he has friend with some great weslake heads and engine parts, i tried to buy them but wont sell them, who could blame him! Argentina produced some of the greatest race drivers of that era, and carlos rueterman drove one of these then. There were slight variations in body shape and the engine had different timeing cover with top mounted magneto and dry sump oil pump on it. i have seen most of the odd head developments and engine parts and lets not forget the weslake y block that appeared in England a few yrs back. One comment was that they could not sustain the load on the block and pistons and blew up regularly. Remember the rumour a long time ago that there were 6 prs of aluminum heads made? and no one knew anything about them, but finally the argy race cars appeared and help clear the air, exciting. This is the one found in England and rumoured to be sold to the US, but i,m thinking the argy,s might have got it ? Also DOHC y block built there too, they were in the forefront of motor raceing and development for many yrs.

How about some more on the Bucci Twin-cam? I'd never heard of that one.

I wish Ted and John could get a chance to completely go over these engines just to see what they knew back then that could help us now! Apparently they were good performers or these highly funded race teams would't have bothered with them. Anyone have a competition history of them? Chuck

Chuck, That second link kinda makes me wonder if Delorean drew inspiration for the Delorean from El Dogo.
