Hope the mesh didnt have any coating on it.. Believe it or not you can get quite sick , some people have used the shelves out of refridgerators over fires to cook on ..That has a coating on it and very nasty..
Great BBQ idea though, well done!

Too bad about loosing the engine.. but I'm not surprised, given the level of turbo charging being put to it..

Don't worry guys... kids are ok, still. They sell that mesh for grill purposes and it is pure. Only aroma we got was from still wet paint drying with heat .
