Well, I have to apologize for listing the wrong winner of the shootout. Jim Cochran and Royce Brechler both broke out, but Royce broke out less, and won the shootout. Someone gave Jim a plaque that said Winner on it and I thought he won. Apparently the plaque was for good effort and some .05 lights that Jim cut. Belated congrats to Royce. I will post a couple of pictures too.

What's the info on that Ranchero? Got some BIG tires on it. Chuck

The Ranchero is Tom Drummond's. It is LYB powered with dual quads. It has a blower mounted, but not ducted to the carbs yet. Maybe Tom will post an engine picture. It ran 14.6 it's first time out. The Ranchero trailer is also Tom's.

That's a pretty interesting shop truck pulling the Ranchero trailer. Judging by the amount of rubber on the rear tires and "Holman Moody" on the door, that truck also has a story to tell.

Yes, I won both shootouts, but I hardly carved up the field.. At Havana 1st round opponent red-lights. Second round I get the bye. Third round opponent red-lights. I am left standing.

At Meltdown 1st round opponent has breakage and can't make the lane so I get a single run. Second round I get the bye. Third round I finally earned a round win. I ran a 14.91 on a 14.90 dial and opponent could not run his number.

I guess i should be looking to run Greg or Harry while my luck holds. What are the chances of them red-lighting or breaking ---not!
