I was talking to Walley Kerstien, he told me he had 2 std 312 cranks he would sell. He said he`s not getting any younger, so he`s not going to use them. If you could use one, his number is 1 847 263 5037. By the way, his last time out he ran some 11.70`s at 115! That is honkin for that full sized car.

I'am with Greg, that is really fast for a full size 56 with interior. I was wondering if it was tuning, gear change, or tires. We once changed form 14 x 32 M & H to new set 11.5 x 30 Goodyears and picked up 3 tenths.

Gary, I think the single biggest improvement was the Mummert heads and intake. He'll tell you most of it at Columbus. But NOT all!

Well, I`ll tell a little of what I know. The secret is there`s no secret. Walley is getting quicker with the slick shifted toploader I built for him, and he made a jetting change and switched to a different spark plug. It liked it! He has the same Isky 505 cam, 12.5 to one, 329 cu in motor he had at Columbus. He`s having a blast!
