Chuck, you posted this picture a while back. I have a set of header flanges and would like to build a set like these some time in the future. Do you know what tube size was used here?
Thanks.

I think that is a set of Red's headers. After I posted the picture I realized it was a saved picture of someone else's engine. Mine is setup the same to include paint.

Right now there are no other makers of this type of exhaust around. John Mummert is working on a set but there have been some delays. I think Jardine is doing the design work.

Chuck, I have looked at the Reds Headers on their web site and they seem to be made with non-mandrel bends, while the ones on the engine pictured look like mandrel bends have been used. I prefer mandrel bends and at some point will try my hand at making a set in stainless. Reds makes them from 1.75 and 2.00 inch tubing. The ones on the engine pictured look to be at least 2".

Thanks

I bought an old set of Hedmans a while back but I'm really curious about the new Jardine's. They are made to fit in cars without interfering with the steering box. Almost like real headers! Ted tested a set of Hedmans a while back and if I remember correctly they were just a bit better than the stock B exhaust. Chuck
