Hey everyone. My car is a 1959 Edsel Ranger with a 292. I'm looking online (And locally) for a good place that'll reproduce the exhaust for it. I've seen Waldren's website, and they look okay, but I'd like to see if I can find a place that does a full on reproduction. Does anyone know of a good place online or in the Southern California area that can do a single exhaust for my Edsel's 292? (I know, I'm being too picky...but that's me...gotta find the best of the best) Thanks!

You might want to join an Edsel group and ask this question. They should know of places that do reproductions.

I've used Waldren's before and they do good work. I would go for a 2 1/4 inch pipe if possible to make up for the pressure bends. They can build with stainless steel as well and their parts fit. I'm sure there are other good exhaust builders out there like Stainless Works in Ohio but on a little more pricy side but they can do mandrel bends.

Hey guys,
I've been trying to track down a muffler for my Edsel's 292 V8 engine and single exhaust system. I can't quite get at mine to see the pipe sizes, but it is all original. Maybe you guys know the specs.
I have found these two so far:
The box for the first one doesn't mention a 292, but they said it has a 2 inch inlet and outlet.
Same as above
And here is the other, it does say 292 on it, but the pipe sizes are: 2 inch inlet, 1 3/4 inch oulet.

The first box says for DUAL exhaust. You wanted single?

Yes, I need single exhaust. I don't know why this company is offering that muffler to me, figured maybe they knew something I didn't know. I guess it's a mistake on their part.
