Hi everyone, new to this forum ,well any forum, trying to trace the history of this Aussie car i have the history that was posted about 2 years ago,I believe Aussie Bill may be able to help with what was there when he picked the odd motors. thanks, stuart from Bowral.

Stuart, i,m assuming that info you mention from 2yrs ago was what i posted? the car was a hill climber built in Qld and raced on tarred windy road racing circuits, briefly going over it, many yrs back i sold 292 to owner and pictured it was like an off road buggy, so was when i went to pick over some leftover engines up near where i recently moved to, discovered more of the story as the guy there lent me the framed pic of car, after contacting retired photograper who,s stamp was on back of frame, pointed me to sporting car club and eventually current owner contacted me, incidently who i allready knew!! he has restored it and races it, among other cars he collects. As for speeds etc and how it went is lost to time, would have been one hell of a ride! as would all of the early y block raceing derivatives that people pioneered. regards bill.
