Well, if it's under the dash of a bird, I can slither over the seat, under the dash, and change it myself. But it took two buddies to yard my sorry a-- back out. And my back still hurts.

It takes 2. One to ice the beer, and one to call the local mobile mechanic or electrician. Deponds on whether the bulb is in the garage or in the car.

I called the local GM shop. They say it can't be changed but they can make me a deal on a really fast new scrub. Chuck

I wouldn't change a bulb without consulting with the Y-BF forum first to make sure it is the bulb and not something more insidious, and again to get the best bulb at the best price, then I'd go with Hoosier at least the cold beer part.

Does the bulb have a top end oiling problem? You know ALL Y-Blocks do.

My 292 that Dr Eaton built up does NOT mark it's territory! As to how many it takes, it really depends on how much of Hoosier's beer has been ingested!

Most of us can't remember where we put the new light bulbs anyhow. So my wife does it or i yell at one of the kids. Works most of the time!

Is there any aluminum aftermarket light bulbs at Mummert's yet or have to I use just good used C1TE bulbs instead?

We're are getting some firm answers here, and some good questions. Remember to-use zinc additive or rotella with these bulbs. Neoprene seals work well also.

3... one to change the bulb and the other two to wax eloquent about the great sound a Y-block makes at full song!

Three, one to hold the magnifying glass, one to hold the bulb and one to steady his hands enough so he can get it in the socket.
