What is going on trying to post, I have been trying to post this for days?

Just so happens the second Loring LSR event is also on Labor day weekend, I would love to run my car either there or Columbus but would like to make a gear change. I have a 9” 3.50 posi unit to throw in for Columbus and a set of 3.89 gears and I have a set of 2.70 for Loring to put on it. The car currently has 3.25 gears on a 9.375 posi unit.

Loring is 6 hrs whereas Columbus is 19 hr drive.

Which way do I go?

Columbus for obvious reasonsBigGrin that's where all the y-blockers will be. That's what is known as our national meet, and the more we have the better chances of getting some y-block coverage in some major magazines.BigGrinBigGrinBigGrin

Bill, aren't there more safety features you would have to install to run at Loring?

Stock I would be limited to 135 the first pass but if I remember right I may be able to go to 150 after that without a cage, stuff guys were doing 170+ with a near stock looking new hemi challenger. I would need rated tires, valve stems, the 3 point harness is a problem in my vicky with no post, I am not putting a hole in my roof for one.
