July 21-22 Byron Il. 2nd annual Y-block Race(didn't want to use shootout before asking the Columbus guys). This is held with the Meltdown drags. Any pre 67 car with period corect wheels. Bob Martins 56 Mercury is used on one of the posters, Y-Block club V/S Fugitave car club. Dave won this last year with his red & white 57. contact Tom Drummond or Bob Martin for more details.

Frank, It would be great if you could make Byron, I will have my 2 57's there, and will be close on the Ranchero, but know some thing else will go wrong and it won't be ready untill Columbus. Tom

If you want the Byron race to have its own identity, or if you are reluctant to use the term "shootout", maybe you could call the Byron race a "Y Block Challenge" race.  Just a thought.

 Trust me, I know how that works. This F code makes me feel like the Village idiot half the time. Never know what's going to go wrong next.
