In doing my front brakes, I found that one bearing race is turning in the hub. Are hubs available or can I safely shim the race?

You could try red Loc-tite first. Checked your hubs for runout lately? New bearings & races may be a good investment if your steering wheel oscillates. When the Loc-tite fix eventually fails, THEN look for NOS hubs (or a disc conversion kit).

Could also "stake" the race. Take a pointy punch and smack a few holes around in the hubs race area.

The displaced material from the punch marks will allow a compression fit to keep the race in place.
