So Howzabout a Y Block Specific Swap Meet

Theres Carlise,Ford Carlise a big swap meet in Charlotte and Early Ford Swap meet in Mass,something in Ohio and of course Hershey.

But all of these yield only a small amout of Y goodies.

Would there be any interest in a Y block specific meet somewhere (hopefully close to my home)BigGrin

Y-Block Shootout, National Trails Raceway, Columbus, Oh, Labor Day Weekend. That's probably about the biggest meet there is at the time. It's not so much a swap meet but people do tend to have parts and if you plan ahead, you can probably arrange to get whatever you need while you're there.

I hauled a trailer load of parts to Columbus year before last, sold quite a bit of stuff and bought some stuff.

The problem with Columbus is we are all loaded with Y block parts, how can we sell stuff to somebody else who is loaded with Y block parts? special items yes, I did buy a carb from Glen, but other than thatrI am loaded.

If anybody needs specific parts they want to buy they could post and somebody may bring that part for them, but I am not bringing a truckload of of parts if everybody already has the same thing.

The last "truckload" I brought went cheap to one of the flea market guys. Sold a few things to the Y's guys and gave some. If you aren't delivering to someone I found its hardly worth it. Ted keeps adding to his vast collection. Chuck

Who is going to Carlisle Fords?  I've never been there, but have some Y Parts, and a Mustang I'd like to sell.
