Check this one out. Serious old style. Check the caster ladder bar. Chuck

La Mesa... that's ~5 miles down the road from Mummert's. John, need another project? Since it had a FE in it a Y-Block will bolt right in.

At first I thought it was an old friend's bird, then I realized his was named "Popeye" not "Tweetie". (Not to mention he had a Big Old Rat Motor in his.)

Interesting rear end set up. Also like the steering column setup with the chain connecter.

We used to do timing chain steering drops on the circle track cars years ago. Really solved the leg room problem in a narrow chassis. Now you can get a billet one for just $600 or so! Boy we've come a long way. You can also do all sorts of weird stuff with the steering ratio by changing the gears around. Chuck
