i was just talking to my father the other night (HotRodBob) about wanting something different than a 4 bbl or 3 duces so i thought about doing stacks. The hot rod shop i was working at put EFI stacks on a Hemi powered 32 roadster and i thought that just looked so cool for the fact that many people don't do it and also there very reliable and tune able.

Yes very tuneable -> there are plenty of things to go wrong.
I afraid the day(s), when I try to find firststart setup again.
It was hard only with TBI + simple spark control and it will be more harder now with more stuff under the hood.

thanks yea i live in LA rough 2 hours give or take from his shop so i do plan on going down there and checking out his shop i checked out his website which was awesome since i have a spare engine i can now ID the heads and block and i may rebuild that engine. I saw plenty of eye candy in some polished valve covers and also finned valley covers

Not your dads 57 eh? Nosed, decked, dago'd fancy wheels and a Y-Block! I think dad has you fooled! Great looking 57 and a proper ride at any age. One of our guys from Texas is a younger guy with a 57 y-Block "hot rod" and he drives it like he stole it all the time! Welcome aboard! Chuck in NH

lol those pictures do the car way to much justice for my car and yea i drive it like i stole it as well that goes with all my vehicles. the wheels are like racing muscle car style doesn't really fit the car well and the what looks to be shiny paint is oxidized single base paint with a kind of peral in it i have to break out my buffer and use extra cutting compound then i use a glazeto make it shine. It ends up taking a full day and last about a week so I've stopped that because i don't know how much paint is left before i burn threw it. I sold my 1929 model A roadster project to fund buying this car from my dads friend he just had it sitting in this drive way so i bought it from him for $5,000 didn't run do to the fact that the carb needed to be rebuilt and cleaned so i did that one after noon took out the worn points and switched it to a pertronics unit once i got the engine to start and run i found that the tranny was slipping bad and one quick fix by adding brake fluid so i did that. Know that its only a bandage and does cause problems down the road but i thought i would have rebuilt the engine and tranny by now o well still runs for no but plan on pulling the engine and trans by the end of the month and have it rebuilt along with smoothing the fire wall getting rid of the regulator on the core support change to a internal regulator and relocate the battery to the truck so i can have a very nice engine bay area ill make a new topic and show pictures of progress and a couple unique ideas i have running threw my head .
