I'm looking for a drive snout for a B&M 177 blower. Anybody got a local source for used parts or one hiding under a bench somewhere? Chuck

Hey Hey! I thought that pic of your engine with Randy's blower might get you thinking.

I went a little blower crazy after that. Now have a B&M thats missing the snout, a complete 4-71 street blower and a 6V-71. The 6V-71 isn't commonly used because the case is rounder at the bottom and uses angled bolts to fasten. No one is making intake or carb adapters for them. I've got a deal working for a intake so I'll spend the winter playing with blower parts. Intent would be to run at least the 4-71 on the new Eaton motor in the roadster! We'll see how that pans out. Isn't it funny how a picture will drive you to madness? Chuck

Give Jerry C a call, no telling what he has stuck back in the "Skunk Works".

Good idea! I hadn't thought of that. Jerry has pieces of almost everythin around his place. Smile Chuck

Chuck would you need to have length of snout in mind before you buy one.Smile

The B&M/Weiand/Holley 177 long snout is what I was looking for. Thats whats on Randy's motor. Chuck

Chuck:

You might try a scrub site.  Some of those guys have a lot of broken parts.

I've been looking but they think the units are gold plated. You can buy a new setup for about $2500 and I've seen drives for over $1000! These guys are nuts. I did pick up another B&M 177 this one is complete so I'm gaining on it. Now I have to work on the manifold issue. Chuck
