Gentlemen

I"m gonna take a swing at repainting the turquoise area on my T Bird valve covers.

Anybody know what color it is and a suggestion for hi temp paint to do this chore with?

Appreciate the suggestions. Smile

In the past I have just mixed it to match the best I could find from other cars. Try model paints, small jars or touchup paint at your local parts store.

You can order a small bottle of the proper paint from Casco and other tbird parts cos if you want it exact.

Oldmic, you can get the Turquoise paint at any of the T-Bird restorer parts houses such as Larry's, T-Bird's, etc.

here's the link to Larry's; http://www.larrystbird.com/TPT_TQ.html

The last time I did mine I used model paint. Looked right and lasted forever.

Thanks for all the suggestions folks.

I guess I should look in the T Bird books before I open my mouth Ermm

We have AC Moore craft stores in our area where I found a spot on "Jade" color for $2.50
