My apologies for putting this in our forum but someone here may have a lot more expeirence with various makes of cars and help identify this front end. My friend in another state has a 38 ford p/up LHD with this drum brake later front end in it, mid 60,s my guess? these are her pics so i cant make them clearer, one thing is that the lower shock mount bolt goes right through lower control arm! and the sway bar mounts funny. Any accurate ideas would be big help as they dont know what model to order parts for. Thank you. regards bill.

Looks like an LC Torana to me. Certainly looks some Holden setup.

Hi rick, yes similar to torana, but car came from the US like this, it has c**v  bolt pattern with 7/16" studs and am guessing its some sort of GM f/end. thanks.Cool

Think Bill's right about the GM part. The spring pocket in the frame is a GM idea. I'd guess that it's a 25 or 30 year old part though with the drum brakes.
