I'm planning to change the front axle on the Chrysler roadster. Do any of you have experience in determining spring length, rates etc.. I have no clue! I'm staying with the semi elliptical springs front and rear but want to completely replace the original springs. They are way too heavy and do not terminate in normal spring eyes. So I'll have to figure the mounting locations and spring sizes from scratch. Hopefully someone out here can help. I don't know the length of the current springs and the car is in storage for now. I don't know anything about Chrysler's, but I'd be surprised if either Posies (superslide) or Magnum Axle couldn't walk you through it. They are probably going to want some specific info on weight, etc. if it's not stock. I don't know that the Deuce Factory does anything other than Ford, but if they do, I really like their mono leaf on my '32 with the F code 312. That's a fairly heavy front end on a car with a track nose, as Ford's go, and I'm sure they've done Hemi's, too.
