I have a 55 272 long block which was recently rebuilt. It was replaced with a 292 because it wouldn't idle well carrying the load of power steering and A/C. The engine had low manifold vacuum at idle (around 12 in) with edlebrock 500 cfm carb. Would sell for $200 plus shipping. Located in Austin Texas. Also have original distributor which was on it.
