I need a used (compressed) set of head gaskets to use as a template to grind reliefs in the C2AE supercharged block I'm working on.w00t Does anyone have a set they are willing to part with?

Why do you need a compressed set? just use new gasket to mark top of block.Smile

That's what I was going to do, but Gord McMillen said to use a used set. I think because they are spread out a bit. I can't imagine it would be very much and if I can't come up with a used pair, I will use a new pair that I have.

Rono, The nascar guys here use new when grinding from scribe marks, compressed obviously do not seem to make that much of a difference and new ones were used on all my engines with NO PROBLEMS whats so ever.BigGrin Good luck on your build.

I will have some used gaskets sometimes this winter when I put the motor on the stand.

Thanks Jeff! Several others have suggersted that I can use new ones, so I'll go that route. Thanks anyway.
