This gear frequently strips out, but I'm hoping somebody out there has one in good shape. I'm sure there are quite a few years of Fords, Mercs & Lincolns with the same mechanism.

You might want to try watching E bay motors I'm sure I seen a fellow that was reproducing the gear in brass for around 60/70 dollars & I believe he was out of California ( possible heading 56 Mercury P/S gear.)
