I have a friend who needs an axle shaft for a '56 wagon rear.  '52-'56 wagon, SD, and police, '55-'56 T-Bird will fit.  Right and left are the same.  Carl, this is what I tried to email you about.  I tried emailing you directly, it must have not gone through.

John, I have an extra dana 44 for the pick up we could tear apart. Think it's the same length?

I'm not sure about spline count and length, but the truck does have a different bolt circle for the wheel.  Thanks for replying.
