For those who are into authenticity or those who want the compression ratio Ford originally quoted, I have the steel head gaskets that originally came with the Y-blocks. The composition gaskets by FelPro and others work fine but are much thicker than the original steel. That lowers the compression ratio of the engine. You can see a picture at:
