WTB: son's first FORD

we're tired of CL and ebay, so the call goes out here in friendly territory...

looking for son's first car:

-Y block equiped a plus, but not a deal-breaker

-not too much of a project... mom would veto...

-prefer driveable as its got to get him to school and back this fall... and to his partime job that he WILL GET so he can help pay for the gas and insurance!

-working A/C or close to it, as we're in Houston!

-son has helped me with my resto project practically from the time he could hold a wrench; he's 16 now and jonesing for his first car!

All offers gratefull considered!

oh yeah, our budget is $2500
