Far Away Y-Guys:   A good friend of mine is participating in the ISDE, in your country, next month.

It's close to Kotha, & Hamina. I don't have a clue if that's near ya'll, but he was asking about

the terrain and weather. For your info, this is the "Olympic's" of the dirt bike world. They ride

150/200 miles a day, for six days, and have to do all their own maintance etc.

Give me some feedback and I'll relay it to him.....

                                                        Thanks,

                                                         Bill

Hey, I just got the official programme for ISDE with largest selling finnish motorsport magazine. It's hard to say about the weather in August. Might be clear and warm, might be rainy and cold. Usuallay August is from 64 F to 77 F. Terrain is normal finnish forest stages with fast sections between the trees, might be fields to cross, rocks to crawl etc normal. If it rains a lot, it'll be slippery and even more hard to get to finish and if you are one of the backmarkers, after 200 riders the stages must be in awfull condition. But, that will be the journey w00t.

Here is couple of links to get the idea...

And this is the next challenge for your friend w00t About thousand kilometers in three days at winter time. This is the most famous bike race here in Finland. Cold, sometimes wet and always hard to finish. Welcome to Finland!
