I need a Ford FMX valve body, shift detent (rooster comb), modulator valve & rod, and parts to upgrade a 57 Tbird Fordomatic to 3 speeds forward in drive. My zip is 95003.

Sorry. I don't these parts after all. I checked over on the Ford Transmissions forum. The upgrade is dependent on a one-way (sprag) clutch. I thought the 57 water-cooled Fordo's had this but according to Stuart over there, that clutch didn't come into service until 1958. I have a 57 Fordomatic Transmission Service Manual and there is no mention of it or shown in the parts diagrams.
