Found this bad looking '54 Chevy for sale online. The nice part is: It has a 272 Y into the engine bay!!

Nice touch that Pontiac tach.

Am I correct to think this is not in the USA? In many countries branding has no infulence. They use what they have available and make it work. A friend in Thailand had a 60 Pontiac 2dr hardtop. Probably left over from a military guy years ago. Anyway, it ran good and we used to take the occasional jaunt in it. He raised the hood once and there sat a Honda 4 cylinder engine and transmission. He needed an engine and they made it fit! Chuck

Yep, it's not in the United States. This pictures are from a guy, that lives about 150 miles from me, and owns a salvage car business.
Around here we are divided into the Ford guys, the GM guys, the Mopar guys, and the Euro car guys.
The guy owns a '75 Galaxie in great shape, so I guess he is a Ford guy, and probably did this just to piss Chevy guys off.
Something that exhaust manifold. The more I think, the less I understand why that thing is there.

here is the link to where I found the pictures:

Glad to hear that! I spent a little time in Argentina but not around car guys. I'm glad the car guys in your area have a little brand bragging thing going on. That makes this car special because it was done to spite the scrub club. Thanks for sharing. Chuck

Yes while in Argentina, I was talking with a gentleman who liked "old cars", he was currently driving a 1929 scrub.  I told him that I also liked old cars and that I currently had a 1962 Ford Fairlane.  He looked kind of funny, and then said, in Argentina a 1962 Ford Fairlane is not an old car, it is a "used car" Wink.

They made the Falcon up into the 1980's in Argentina.
