Damn, that is cool. I'd almost trade my 57 Bird if it is as solid as it looks.

I agree but Flatheads have become a highly expensive habit of late, more than Yblocks for sure.

Would like to get a better view of those exhaust manifolds.
By PWH42 - 14 Years Ago
Aren't they stock manifolds put on backwards?

an ol'school trick about reversing those mainifolds. much more clearance to drop the pipes in the front than confront steering and clutch interferenceBigGrin

Haha, glad you guys saw the exhausts also, should have seen me getting close to the screen and trying to peek over the sheet metal. Grandson walks in... "what the???". Blush

Sweet! But doesn't he need a higher rated speedometer in that thing?

I agree with Tim...If I can have only one classic car, a '39 or '40 Ford coupe is it!!...Someday.

A guy in my car club has a 39 Ford coupe sitting on a fatman frame with no engine or trans he is asking $10,500 for. I haven't told the wife yet but have thought of offering a little less and see if he takes it.

flatheads are expensive, but that only brings more attention to alternative vintage V8's. Y's and FE's.

Fords are just more money in any case.

glad i have all three.
