Since you are in NJ, there was an ad on Craigs list for a 56 Ford with a 312. Try the Northern NJ Craigs list.

I sent you an email with pictures of the block you are looking for , it's std. bore , crank is still in it, never took off the caps in 10 years , so it maybe a std crank with rusty rod journals
