Still looking. Does anyone have a 3 speed automatic bell housing for sale?

Are you looking for std or auto bellhousing? Car or truck?

For a T-5 Conversion I think he's going to have to use a 3 speed manual tranny bell housing. Still need to know if car or truck. Assuming it's for a truck since OP appears to have an F350.

Sorry I haven't been on the site for a couple of days. It's for an F350 I'm converting to an F100. I have two manual 4 speed truck bellhousings right now, and am under the impression that for Mummerts conversion I need the 3 speed. Hopefully Charlie has one. He just PMed. Thanks for your guys help. Ryan

Ya know, the more information you give initially and responding to questions makes it easier for members to help you (only a few on here can read minds). Just sayin'!

Sorry, here's all the info I should have included in the first post.

I need a manual 3 speed truck bell housing.

It's for an F100, y block 292 motor, which will be bored and stroked out to a 331. I'm using Mummert Aluminum Intake, Holley 4 Barrel, ported heads with oversize valves (2.02 and 1.6). I'm having a cam ground by Nelson's in Logan Utah. Don't know the specs on that yet- but excited about the grind, 1/4 to 1/2 race grind- just for kicks. Custom exhaust. New ignition and electronics, converting it to 12v as well. Considering A/C, and power steering. I've got a 1989 WC T5 that looks great. Have a 9 inch that's junk. So, I'll probably go scalp an 8.8 out of an explorer. I don't know what other information you might need. Tongue Let me know. Thanks, Ryan

Are you going to have John Mummert modify the bell for the T-5? If so, he may be able to provide a core. Think he charges $100 (when he has one available). It's probably going to cost $35-40 to ship each way as those suckers are heavy.
By grovedawg - 15 Years Ago
Yes. I am going to have John modify the bell. But when I asked he said that he didn't have a core. Hence the ad.BigGrin

I just bought one from Charlie. Thanks for coming through in the clutch (figuratively of course.)

How do you I.D. bellhousing casting# applications? My parts catalogs only cover T-Bird/pass. car to '59, and they seldom specify casting #s.
