Fuel pump needed

This is in relation to hard starting issue in technical section. I bought a new fuel pump from Auto parts super store in Hewlett NY. Arrived today. DOESNT WORK. What pump will interchange with mine. 292 55 bird. Elec wipers. Need one ASAP.

I was able to get mine from Kragen/O'reilly. They had it in stock...don't have the part number...they have a pretty good website.

You might try rockauto.com also. They can ship express.

The early FE pumps work fine unless you are running the vacumme hookups. Chuck in nh
