By DANIEL TINDER - 14 Years Ago Can anyone recommend a business that specializes in jack restoration? I seem to recall seeing an ad for that service in the past, but can't find now. By rgrove - 14 Years Ago How/what has to be restored?  I disassembled/blasted/painted mine, and it looks/works fine.  Is yours damaged? Dunno that ive ever seen anyone who specialized in restoring jacks? By DANIEL TINDER - 14 Years Ago Teeth on shaft are worn (too long under tension) allowing ratchet to slip. If shaft is disassembled/flipped, good time to get it re-plated?
