Although I have never been to Columbus and nobody knows me, (makes me feel like the black sheep of the Y block family) But I feel like I know everybody. I am from Maine (hence the term Mainiac) I will get there and was hoping this year but if anybody had a camera they could have taken a photo of me getting arrested the other night, so it may blow my chances of making columbus this year. Anyway I am heading to Aussieland April 7th, if your out there LON give me a hollar and let me know if there is a possibility of hooking up? I will be spending a couple nights in Brisbane, maybe Townsville on my way home if you are anywhere near. Again, Give me a shout. Thanks, Bill

I always know where Lon is, I just have to look in my rear view mirror. He is either there or he is napping on a starting line someplace. Rob

Great! I am due to fly back to Brisbane from the job on Saturday the 14th, But it can vary depending on the work. I don't even know which plant they are sending me to yet but if it is the same one as last time it is in the middle of Queensland, supposedly the most remote plant on earth, we flew in their own jet from the plant to Townsville and on the way there I flew to Mt Isa and then a puddle jumper for a couple hours to the plant. I can probably stop in Brisbane for a day or two then and head from there on Monday or Tuesday. Will you be around on this weekend? I read something in one of your post about a guy casting some aluminum intake manifolds and parts for Y's, is he anywhere close and are there any made for sale yet? Is there anything you need that I may have, I was thinking maybe I could bring a left side exhast manifold from here and trade for one of your right ones in case we decide to go dual turbo in the future. I did Pm you but haven't checked my messages yet to see if you replied. PM me and give me your email address and cell Number and I will be in touch. Rob, I could bring him some snow from here, its pretty close to Canadian snow and maybe bring back some Aussie desert sand for you, although they used to sell shellacked moose turds at the airport here and maybe I could bring back some shellacked kangaroo poo for you. Keep in touch LON

Sounds good Billy, or just bring a snow ball and throw it at Lon for me All kidding aside have a safe trip and have a beer with OLD Lon for me. One of these days I have to get down under and show Lon that I can also kick his butt driving on the wrong side of the road too. Sorry I can't help picking on him,(he is such an easy target) but you will enjoy your time in Aussie land. If you hook up with Lynne and Lon, you will see that they are two of the nicest people on the face of the earth! Ejoy.Rob

Lon, I tried another PM, let me know if you recieve it. Chuck, Don't be jealous, I have been travelling the world for 17 years now and it is very tiring. I would rather be home playing with Y's so I am jealous of you. I was hoping we could hook up at Oxford Plains speedway some night but it looks as though I may not have a license this summer unless I can beat the system, if not I am going to have plenty of time at home to work on Y's. Billy, I actually traveled the world for 22 years in the Army. We moved 19 times in that period of life. Saw some neat stuff, missed out on building a network of local friends. I've been in one spot since 1987 and still feel a need to move on occasion. I really don't mind the travel time and will find a way to go see Lynn and whats his name someday! Oxford Plains is still in negotiation. The track managers said they would love to see a Y-Block group at their reqular gathering. I'm thinking we should talk it up and see how many Y-Blocker's we can draw. We could plan from there. Chuck

Lon, I am surrounded by scrub lovers and they want to kick me out of here early. I am somewhere in the north west queensland area about 150km from Mt Isa. I fly back to Townsville tomorrow but my flight to Brisbane is Saturday morn. I will try calling you maybe tomorrow, let me know of a hotel not too far from you. Talk to you soon, Bill
