spent the day getting the y block I bought and shipped from troy N.Y. in some semblance of shape.

Its been on the engine stand for some time and painted, but I knew there was work to be done.I cleaned and painted the front motor mount timing chain cover to match, as well as the damper pully, fan, and fan pully. did some touch up removed the old timing chain cover and cleaned the front of the motor in preparation of the new. started removing the front sump oil pan since I have a passable rear sump.then it dawned on me to see if you fine folks could help, or be helped.

I would prefer to trade for items I need, not looking to sell

what I have:

Timing chain cover ECG-6059-B used in side motor mount applications,                                                             front sump oil pan w/oil pump tube(long)/pickup in great shape,                                                                        front dip stick and tube.

what I need:

mid block dipstick and tube for a rear sump oil pan                                                                                         thermostat housing and water pump hose housing for the hose that faces back towards thermo housing,            remote heater shutoff valve.

I have the mid-block (truck) dip stick and tube and need the front dip stick and tube for front sump oil pan. Would be willing to trade. The dip stick I have is missing the collar that sits on top of the tube.

Where are you located?

I have a 58 F-100 engine (complete) that I would trade parts. Dip stick and housing from side of block, thermostat housing and by-pass hose fitting at water pump.
