We just completed the historic 3600 km , 7 day rally ( unlimited speed sections ) thru mainland Mexico with 100 other vintage cars,

We, my 25 year old daughter was my co-piloto this year ,had a comfortable 5:30 minute lead going into the fifth day , but slide wide and put it in a ditch. After repairs finished second in class and 32 overall ( 100 cars started ). The Mummert Y block never let us down ( third year in a row ) There was only one other Y block in the race a beautiful '54 Lincoln Capri which unfortunatly crashed on the sixth day .

Carson, Congratulations! Sounds like some great racing and bonding time with your daughter. That blog gives a good feel for what the event is like.

I noticed she mentioned Tequila a number of times, I'm sure that was just consumed to help you sleep.Hehe

The old Ford keeps hanging in there. Is this the 5th year for the car and 3rd year on engine?

Congrats on another successful run Carson - I'm still green with envy......!

.....looks like you're gonna have to put some skid plates under there.
