My vin number says I have a 292 but the 312 crank and .080 over makes it a 317

When it comes down to it, I don't think anything bigger than a 272 was offered in the Customline. I'm not so sure Customline trim was offered on a hard top either. My guess is that the guy bought a customline parts car with a title and cobbled a car together. I have been known to do the same thing. However, I'm not sure he will be able to get his asking price for this reason. It is a nice car, and very tastefully done, but I think the guys with the big money will want the numbers to add up.

Ford did build Customline Victorias in 56.They built just over 33,000 of them. And they were available with any engine Ford offered in 56.My brother-in-law has one that he bought 15 years ago from the original owner. It's an M code, signifying a 292.A friend of mine bought one new and ordered it with a 312.
